Hosokawa Micron Ltd is delighted to be joining one of our industry partners, Cavitron®, at the upcoming ACHEMA 2022, the world’s leading trade show for process industries, which is to be held in Frankfurt, Germany from 22nd to 26th August 2022.
This world-famous chemical industry showcase has no fewer than 2,200 exhibitors from 50 countries and promises to be an exciting, inspiring event focussed on themes such as green innovation, digitalisation, novel bioprocesses and technologies, additive manufacturing, material processing, modular and connected production and the latest developments in product design, process security and Industry 4.0, the circular economy, fossil-free production, the hydrogen economy and plant design.
Established in 1984, Cavitron® (based near Dortmund in Germany) is a long-term technical partner of ours and a specialist supplier of rotor/stator dissolving machines for manufacturing sectors such as chemicals, paper and food. Their technically advanced, high-performance equipment is renowned for being versatile, compact, efficient, energy-saving, eco-friendly and easy to maintain and is used for processing activities such as dispersing, homogenising, emulsifying, deflaking, mixing, dissolving, polymerising, disintegrating and deagglomerating.
Hosokawa Micron Ltd has been partnering with Cavitron® for more than twenty years, successfully collaborating on multiple process system projects for rubber and chemical industry customers from all over the world.
Hosokawa Micron’s Rubber Chopper size reduction machines are well-known for being efficient grinding workhorses with an average lifespan of thirty years. Extremely popular in the processing of synthetic, recycled and natural bales of rubber, the iconic blue and yellow Rubber Choppers seamlessly integrate with Cavitron’s Rotor/Stator Dissolvers to create continuous dissolving process systems for synthetic rubber reduction.
With twelve halls to visit, there’s plenty to discover at ACHEMA 2022. Cavitron® and Hosokawa Micron Ltd can be found in the Mechanical Processes Hall (12.1), where we’ve taken the D100 booth.
On the stand, you’ll be able to view a scaled-down 3D printed model of a continuous dissolving process system – designed and manufactured for a blue-chip chemicals company – and meet with members of the Cavitron® and Hosokawa Micron teams.
