Hosokawa Micron Ltd Partners with Digital Manufacturing Week 2020

Hosokawa Micron Ltd is delighted to announce that we will be participating at the Digital Manufacturing Week 2020 virtual festival, to be held between the 9th and 13th November. In addition to co-sponsoring the event – with leading technology, manufacturing and engineering companies, including our friends at Autodesk, Made Smarter and IMechE – we have a virtual stand and will be presenting in the Solution Arena.

Usually held in Liverpool’s amazing waterfront setting, due to the restrictions of the Coronavirus Pandemic, this prestigious stage for global manufacturing and cutting-edge technology is moving online for the first time. This year, the themed five-day event offers a state-of-the-art digital platform into which manufacturers can immerge themselves; a place to learn, share knowledge, network, source, redefine business models and conduct research.

The Manufacturing Leaders’ Summit brings together some of the world’s best thought leaders on the future of manufacturing, who will share their knowledge and experience on subjects such as supply chain resilience, process automation, AI, remote working and changing markets, as well as strategic, business and technical manufacturing challenges. A must-see keynote speaker is Henrik von Scheel, the originator of the Industry 4.0 concept.

The Made Smarter Emerging Technology Show, on 13th November, is the virtual equivalent of Innovation Alley, one of Digital Manufacturing Week’s most popular attractions. Billed as ‘bleeding-edge disruptive technology’, this is the place to go to find the genius ideas that will build the technology landscape for the next decade.

Smart Factory Expo is where you’ll find Hosokawa Micron Ltd this year. From 9th to 12th November, a team of our digital, technical and process manufacturing experts will be hosting our virtual stand. They will be on-hand to share the experiences of our own digital transformation and the story of Hosokawa Gen4, the software we created in collaboration with a number of industry-leading technology partners, specifically to address our own contract manufacturing needs and those of our global process manufacturing customers. There will be lots of downloadable content to inspire and learn from and delegates will be able to virtually visit us to meet and chat.

We’re thrilled to say that Claire Holt, our Business and Partnerships Manager, will be presenting in the Solution Arena on Thursday 12th November at 11.30am and 3.30pm, talking about Hosokawa’s digital journey, Hosokawa Gen4 software, digital strategies, data-driven manufacturing and a lot more. A Q&A session with Claire will follow on our stand shortly after the presentations.

The Smart Factory Expo Manufacturer Pass is free for manufacturers and includes access to the Exhibit Hall and Solution Arena presentations (9th to 12th Nov), the daily keynote speeches and opportunities to network, as well as the Made Smarter Emerging Technology Show (13th Nov). An Access All Areas Manufacturer Pass is £145 + VAT and offers additional access to the Manufacturing Leaders’ Summit and Top 100 Awards.

If you’re interested in attending and would like to visit our stand in the Exhibit Hall, we’d love to see you there! Just register here to book.
