Chemicals North West 2020 Awards: Hosokawa Micron Ltd is Announced as Event Sponsor

Hosokawa Micron Ltd is delighted to be an event sponsor at the prestigious Chemicals Northwest 2020 Awards, taking place on 19th March 2020 at Hilton Manchester Deansgate.

The glamorous black tie gala dinner – organised by the industry-led cluster organisation, Chemicals Northwest – takes place annually for around 300 guests from Northwest England’s chemistry-using industries, who gather together to celebrate the achievements of the past year.

Chemical processing companies, key players in the chemicals supply chain, stakeholders and service providers are invited to nominate themselves in a series of ten categories for awards such as Manufacturing Company of the Year, International Trade, Sustainability and Young Talent in the Chemistry Industry. Each award honours the excellent work of regional businesses and, for additional excitement, recipients of the accolades will remain secret until the gala dinner awards ceremony. Companies are permitted to nominate themselves in up to three categories and entries will be accepted up until Friday 24th January 2020.

The 2020 awards will be hosted by the BBC’s North West Political Editor, Nina Warhurst, who can regularly be seen presenting on BBC Breakfast, North West Tonight and Sunday Politics North West from MediaCityUK, the BBC’s regional headquarters on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal in Salford.

Hosokawa Micron, as a proud member of the Chemicals Northwest organisation, has elected to sponsor both drinks receptions on the night. The ‘Sponsors and Guests’ reception will be held in Hilton Manchester Deansgate’s fabulous Cloud23 Bar, offering superb panoramic views of the city of Manchester, while the main ‘Pre-awards Drinks Reception’ will be hosted in the luxury hotel’s spacious Deansgate Foyer, outside the impressive Deansgate Suite where the gala dinner and awards ceremony will be staged.
