Milling and Classifying

Hosokawa’s high-tech systems, which include granulators, fine impact and classifier mills, and high-performance classifiers, enable the use of these ingredients in a wide range of combinations. Furthermore, the protein shifting process developed specifically for pulses and grains allows for the enrichment of vegetable protein from pulses through grinding and classification.
Mixing
The Vitomix ribbon screw mixer is ideal for fast, accurate mixing of medium-sized batches of feed additives with low energy input. In one compact machine, it combines gentle mixing and mid to low shear. Mixing times of 1 to 3 minutes are possible.
The Vitomix ribbon screw mixer accurately mixes very small amounts of powder concentrates into a mixture of bulk materials with varying bulk density and particle properties. Aside from high accuracy, the Vitomix is available in a variety of capacities, with batch sizes ranging from 1 to 4 tonnes.
